Shelton’s Performance of “Footloose” Now Streaming on CMT.com
NASHVILLE – November 14, 2011 – Blake Shelton, recently crowned CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, is the next superstar to take the INVITATION ONLY stage when an all-new episode of the popular performance series premieres Monday, November 14 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT. right after the CMT premiere of BEHIND THE MUSIC featuring Miranda Lambert. Taped before a small studio audience in Nashville, INVITATION ONLY: BLAKE SHELTON features Shelton performing his biggest hits and new favorites, along with an informal question and answer session with fans.
In this one-hour concert special, Shelton performs his hits including “All About Tonight” and “Some Beach,” as well as his cover of “Footloose,” from the film’s remake, and “Honey Bee” which shot to #1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart. While answering questions from fans, Shelton reveals how he balances his career and marriage and why country is the only genre of music he would perform.
In addition to Shelton, previous episodes of INVITATION ONLY have featured Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.
