NASHVILLE – August 28, 2006 – And the nominees are… CMT hosts Lance Smith and Katie Cook broadcast all of the excitement of the 2006 CMA AWARDS NOMINATIONS with a special live episode of CMT INSIDER, premiering Wednesday, August 30 at 10:00-10:30 a.m., ET/PT; 9:00-9:30 a.m., CT.
Five-time CMA winner Brad Paisley and past CMA nominee Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland announce the final 2006 CMA nominees in select categories live from New York on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” then CMT exclusively reveals the remaining nominations live from Nashville with rising star Jason Aldean and members of country vocal quartet Little Big Town. The CMT INSIDER special also includes the announcement of the 2006 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees, interviews with nominated artists and more.
