Country Weekend to Air Back-to-Back Episodes of the CMT Hit Series, TRICK MY TRUCK, in a Four Hour Marathon
Nashville, TN – March 14, 2006 – CMT kicks off its “Country De-Luxe Weekend,” March 17-19, with the premieres of new specials that are sure to both humor and excite. The fun-filled weekend starts with the premieres of the CMT INSIDER SPECIAL: LARRY THE CABLE GUY and is followed by the new specials COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS and TRAVIS TV.
CMT's Katie Cook sits down with comedian Larry the Cable Guy to learn about the man behind the character and the story of what it was like to be raised on a Nebraska pig farm. Ironically, he's the only Blue Collar tour guy who's not actually Southern, but he is the only authentic farm kid of the bunch. In this special, CMT learns how his onstage persona came about and how the catch phrase "Git-R-Done" took on a life of its own.
