CMT Digital’s fan-favorite fireside series “CMT Campfire Sessions” returns for Season 2
All-new episode featuring Lauren Alaina is now live via CMT Facebook, Instagram & YouTube channels
NASHVILLE -- (October 28) -- Today, CMT Digital’s much-acclaimed original series “CMT Campfire Sessions” returns for its second season with new episodes premiering each Thursday via CMT’s Facebook, Instagram and YouTubechannels. Kicking off Season 2 is Multi-Platinum selling rising superstar and fan-favorite Lauren Alaina who shares stripped-back versions of hits from her latest album, Sitting Pretty On Top Of The World, including “Good Ole Boy,” “It Was Me” and her current single, “Getting Over Him,” all performed fireside from Monteagle Mountain in Tennessee. Watch Lauren’s full episodes HERE.
Artists Brittney Spencer, Gary Allan, Maddie & Tae and Riley Green will all appear in upcoming installments of “CMT Campfire Sessions,” with timing for each episode to be announced at a later date. Each will share acoustic, feel-good performances under the stars for a reimagining of the traditional campfire sing-along, swapping songs and stories that nod to the nostalgia and intimacy of storytelling that is synonymous with the country genre. Additionally, fans will be treated to a special Holiday-themed compilation episode, where select artists from this season will share a favorite Christmas song.
“CMT Campfire Sessions” originated as a CMT Digital-led production that gave fans an inside look into the backyards of some of their favorite artists during quarantine, including Cody Johnson, Granger Smith, Hailey Whitters, Jimmie Allen, Jordan Davis, Lainey Wilson, Lee Brice, Russell Dickerson and The War and Treaty. The success of the digital franchise went on to inspire the brand to launch a linear version of the series of the same name, premiering this past July in primetime, with featured appearances from Brothers Osborne, Miranda Lambert with Jack Ingram & Jon Randall, Kane Brown, Keb’ Mo’, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A and Trisha Yearwood.
