CMT DISCOVERS “DEATH VALLEY” IN GROUNDBREAKING FOUR NIGHT TELEVISION SPECIAL EVENT PREMIERING OCTOBER 1
LOS ANGELES – September 5, 2014 – CMT is unveiling a shockingly eerie series with the premiere of DEATH VALLEY, a four night CMT Special Event which kicks off Wednesday October 1 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and runs through Saturday, October 4 with back-to-back episodes each night.
During this unforgettable four night event, CMT delves into one of the hottest, driest and deadliest environments on Earth – Death Valley. Cut off from society and all the comforts it provides, cameras follow five locals as they brave the elements and perils of a lawless land in hopes of realizing their dreams of riches. Each episode features opposing worlds colliding as they live life on their own terms. But even as they search for legendary treasure-filled mines, protect their land from intruders or endure record-breaking heat, everyone in this unforgiving desert is motivated by one basic instinct – survival.
