NASHVILLE – January 4, 2006 – CMT has acquired the re-broadcast rights to all ten episodes of the one-hour NBC series, THREE WISHES through June 2008, with the option to license any future episodes, it was announced today by Mary Beth Cunin, vice president, program planning and scheduling, CMT. CMT will premiere THREE WISHES on Saturday, January 21 at 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT, immediately following the 2006 Miss America Pageant. The unscripted series will then fall into its regular time slot on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT as of Monday, January 23.

“THREE WISHES is exactly the kind of feel-good show that appeals to CMT viewers,” said Cunin. “We hope to take advantage of a strong Miss America lead-in to launch the series before establishing this show on Monday nights.”

Hosted by five-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Amy Grant, THREE WISHES features Carter Oosterhouse (“The Today Show,” “Trading Spaces”), Eric Stromer (“clean sweep”), and Diane Mizota (“Trading Spaces: Boys Vs. Girls”), who grant wishes to individuals, families and sometimes entire communities.

Grant has sold over 25 million records worldwide, won five Grammy Awards and has performed everywhere from the White House to the Grand Ole Opry. Her songs of love, faith and family continue to find their place across radio formats. Grant has taken Christian music and her positive message to a wider audience and broader platform than any other artist in the contemporary Christian genre. She was the first contemporary Christian artist to have a platinum record, the first to have a No. 1 pop record and the first to perform at the Grammys. In her spare time, Grant participates in several charities, including “Make-A-Wish” Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Challenge Aspen, the Parseghian Foundation and Compassion International.
