NASHVILLE – June XX, 2012 – CMT is set to world premiere multi-award winning Blake Shelton’s new video “Over” in a half-hour special DIARY OF A DIRECTOR: BLAKE SHELTON’S “OVER” on Friday, June 15 at 10 a.m. ET/PT. Shelton and award-winning director Roman White give fans a humorous glimpse at what goes into making a music video, including the inside scoop on why Shelton fears this particular video more than his previous three creations with White. “Over” will also be the featured bonus video in this week’s CMT TOP 20 COUNTDOWN airing Friday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT.

CMT.com teamed with Hi-Fi Fusion and award-winning director Roman White to launch a special four-part web series, DIARY OF A DIRECTOR, leading up to the world premiere of “Over.” The exclusive webisodes premiered daily throughout the week, and give fans a backstage pass to the video shoot from the California desert.

Shelton’s “Over” will air across CMT, CMT.com and CMT Pure, the network’s 24-hour all music channel. CMT is the only country music network in the unique position to deliver world premiere exclusives to fans on demand, on multiple platforms.

Blake Shelton is one of the "most versatile of contemporary country singers" (The New York Times). The reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year was nominated for three GRAMMY® Awards in 2012, which included a nod for Country Album of the Year for Red River Blue in which "Over" is featured. "Over" follows his multi-week #1 hits, "Drink On It," "God Gave Me You" and "Honey Bee." Red River Blue debuted at #1 on the Soundscan Top Current Albums chart and Soundscan Top Country Albums chart with the Associated Press calling the album "the best album of his career." Shelton holds the record for the fastest-selling digital Platinum single for a male country solo artist with "Honey Bee." The single held the # 1 spot on the Billboard Country chart for four weeks in a row with over 40 million in audience. No country artist has held this record in almost six years. Shelton now has eleven #1 hits and has not had a single peak outside the Top Ten since 2007.
