CMT MUSIC AWARDS AND CARRIE UNDERWOOD TO BE FEATURED ON THE COVER OF USA WEEKEND HITTING STANDS SUNDAY, JUNE 6

NASHVILLE – June 3, 2010 – With just a week to go before the CMT MUSIC AWARDS, fans and country stars are getting closer to finding out who will win the coveted fan-voted awards. Past winner and multiple nominee Carrie Underwood, who is in the running for Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year, will be featured on the Sunday, June 6 cover of USA WEEKEND, which is dedicated to the CMT MUSIC AWARDS.

USA WEEKEND has partnered with CMT for the third year for the USA WEEKEND Breakthrough Video of the Year. Artists nominated in the category are Luke Bryan, Laura Bell Bundy, Easton Corbin and Steel Magnolia. Fans can vote online at CMT.com through Tuesday, June 8 to determine the winners.
Hosted by Kid Rock, the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will air LIVE from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 9 on CMT and CMT.com. Country music’s biggest stars are slated to perform, including Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band, with more to be announced.
