“CMT on Tour” Tickets Go On Sale July 27

NASHVILLE – July 9, 2007 – CMT ON TOUR returns for its sixth consecutive year with another fan favorite line-up as CMT announces CMT ON TOUR 2007: SUGARLAND CHANGE FOR CHANGE featuring LITTLE BIG TOWN and JAKE OWEN. Executive produced by Steve Moore of AEG Live, CMT ON TOUR will launch September 27 and continue through December 15.

This summer, the CMT ON TOUR 2007: SUGARLAND CHANGE FOR CHANGE will hit 32 markets across the country including New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale starting July 27 in select markets, and will be available through each venue’s participating ticketing company. The complete tour schedule is available at cmtontour.cmt.com. Past artists participating in CMT ON TOUR include megastars Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts.

Sugarland exploded onto the country music scene in 2004 with multi-platinum selling, Twice The Speed Of Life, which gave birth to mega hits “Baby Girl” and “Something More.” Their current album, perfectly titled, Enjoy the Ride has already sold over a million albums and spawned two No. 1 hits, “Want To” and “Settlin’.” Sugarland has received a Grammy nomination, an American Music Award for “Breakthrough Favorite New Artist,” an ACM award for “New Duo/Group of the Year,” two CMT Awards and four additional nominations, as well as three CMA nominations. Jennifer Nettles picked up a Grammy in 2007 for her collaboration with Bon Jovi. Just to name a few, they have performed on “Good Morning America,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” the Radio Music Awards, Grammy’s, CMA’s, ACM’s, CMT Awards, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” special and garnered the highest-rated CMT CROSSROADS with Bon Jovi. They are currently on tour with Kenny Chesney.

Little Big Town is one of the biggest success stories of the year and it all began with the release of their CD The Road To Here, the band’s platinum plus debut for the Equity Music Group. The CD’s release opened the floodgates of critical acclaim, commercial success and awards, including being named the ACM's Top New Vocal Group this year, as well as generating the band’s first Grammy nominations (two) and Billboard Magazine naming them The Independent Artist of 2006, as well as their album The Independent Album of 2006. The band topped the list of artists and albums in all genres. Little Big Town has toured with some of the biggest names in music, including Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and John Mellencamp. The rock superstar was so pleased with the band’s turn as his opening act, he asked them to perform on his new CD, which was released earlier this year. Little Big Town will release its second CD for Equity in November 2007.

RCA recording artist Jake Owen burst onto the country music scene last year with his debut album Startin’ With Me. In less than a year, Owen has celebrated a Top 15 hit with his debut single "Yee Haw" and a Top 10 with his current single "Startin' With Me." He also made his national TV debut on ABC's “Good Morning America” and has toured with Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Currently, Owen is the opening act for the 2007 Alan Jackson/Brooks & Dunn Tour.
