CMT PICKS UP FIRST-EVER ANIMATED SERIES “BOUNTY HUNTERS” TO DEBUT IN 2013
Executive Producers Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy to Voice New Series
NEW YORK – April 4, 2012 – CMT has signed an order for 13 episodes of its first-ever animated project BOUNTY HUNTERS to be produced by Muse Entertainment and Parallel Entertainment, it was announced today by Jayson Dinsmore, EVP, Programming and Development at the network’s annual upfront presentation in New York. Executive producers Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy will voice the animated series, along with series regular Lisa Lampanelli. BOUNTY HUNTERS will be produced by Muse Entertainment and Parallel Entertainment, and is set to debut on CMT in 2013.
The animated comedy stars the voices of Foxworthy, Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy as they track down fugitives for their own two-bit bounty hunting business in each half-hour episode. The team will do their best to chase down fugitives, while pleasing the tough-as-nails bondwoman who throws them cases, voiced by Lampanelli. Without fail, the Chief of Police who wants to shut down their operation and a long list of personal faults always seem to interfere.
BOUNTY HUNTERS, co-created by Glenn Clements, Ben Levin and Matt Burnett, is executive produced by Foxworthy, Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, as well as Joel Rice, Michael Prupas and Jesse Prupas for Muse Entertainment. JP Williams and Jennifer Novak executive produce for Parallel Entertainment; along with Jayson Dinsmore, Eliot Goldberg and Melanie Moreau for CMT.
