CMT Premieres New Digital Series "Another Round" Featuring the Williams Siblings from Outlaw Country's Legendary Family

NASHVILLE - March 11, 2020 - Today, CMT launched its all-new digital series “Another Round” with the Williams siblings: Hilary Williams, Holly Williams and Sam Williams, grandchildren of legendary Hank Williams, Sr. and children of Hank Williams, Jr. The three took the stage together for the first time publicly for the premiere episode of “Another Round,” which brings Music City’s celebrated ‘in the round’ format to life in front of a live studio audience, allowing for an intimate spotlight on the artist, their songs and stories. The series was taped at the CMT Studios in the heart of downtown Nashville.
“We’ve never done a songwriters round together. This is the first one!” shared Hilary Williams. “We’ve sang on stage with dad together, usually ‘Family Tradition’ at the end of his show, but never together like this.”
For the premiere episode, the trio collaborated on the Williams family’s most celebrated songs: Hank Sr.’s “I Saw the Light,” Hank Jr.’s “Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound,” plus their own individual music including Hilary Williams performing “Crazy,” Holly Williams sharing her song “Drinkin,” and Sam Williams singing “Can’t Fool Your Own Blood.”
Each of the Williams siblings have pursued their own musical careers: Hilary recently released her debut album “My Lucky Scars”; Holly has released three critically-acclaimed albums and Sam recently made his Grand Ole Opry debut and was just named one of CMT’s 2020 Listen Up artists.
“It’s incredible to see everyone following their passion and doing what we want to do because we love it,” said Sam Williams. “Music is in our bones, we just love to sing it and play it. The Williams’ just love music. We love writing and performing.”
