CMT SCORES WITH THE LAUNCH OF “CMT GAMES”

CMT Games and Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Debut First Title “CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country” in March

NASHVILLE – February 1, 2006 – CMT continues to expand across multiple platforms with the launch of its gaming division entitled “CMT Games,” it was announced by Brian Philips, EVP and general manager, CMT. The division will partner with leading game publishers to develop, produce and promote creative gaming experiences for the CMT audience. CMT Games will ship its first original video game title CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution® Country March 28, 2006, as the result of a collaborative partnership with Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.

CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country features 35 hit songs* and is the first country music karaoke video game on the market. CMT provided music selection, creative content and direction for the overall look and feel of the game. CMT will leverage its unique marketing capabilities across multiple platforms to include on-air support and online sweepstakes.

Designed for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country is an extension of Konami’s hit music video game franchise Karaoke Revolution®. The game also marks the first Karaoke Revolution version designed for a specific music genre. CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country is scheduled to hit stores in late March.

CMT Games is overseen by Paul DeGooyer, SVP, MTV Networks Music and Logo Enterprise Group, who reports to Jeff Yapp, EVP, MTV Networks Music and Logo Group. Tony Calandra, Sr. Director of CMT Interactive Products, will manage the new division and Joseph Varet, Sr. Director CMT Business Development & Strategy will oversee CMT Games’ business partnerships and strategic relationships. Jamie Leece will serve as CMT Games’ executive producer working with independent developers to identify new projects. Marc Nesbitt, Sr. Producer of CMT Games will oversee all project production and creative.
