NASHVILLE – April 23, 2007 – CMT, a unit of Viacom's MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), announced today that it will make its hit series and specials featuring a cast of stars including Jeff Foxworthy, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, trucks and more available for purchase and download online for the first time on multiple digital download services. Popular CMT series such as FOXWORTHY’S BIG NIGHT OUT and CMT COMEDY STAGE are already available for on-demand purchase at the iTunes store (www.itunes.com), Amazon Unbox (http://unbox.amazon.com), AOL Video (http://video.aol.com), Wal-Mart Video Downloads (www.walmart.com/videodownloads) and coming soon to Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360.

The network plans to unveil additional series monthly, including new franchises PRANKVILLE and BORN COUNTRY, along with established hits such as TRICK MY TRUCK and DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS: MAKING THE TEAM. In addition, CMT will offer a handful of back catalog programming, such as SMALL TOWN SECRETS and MOST SHOCKING. Several of the new series will be offered for instant release, available for download just 24 hours from the channel premiere.

CMT COMEDY STAGE – Hosted by comedic actress Melissa Peterman (“Reba”), CMT COMEDY STAGE is CMT’s first foray into stand-up comedy, featuring rising stars, as well as popular comedic favorites in each 30-minute episode. CMT COMEDY STAGE is taped before a live audience at the historic Belcourt Theatre in Nashville.
FOXWORTHY’S BIG NIGHT OUT – Mixing comedic sketches and musical performances, Foxworthy is joined onstage by some of country music’s biggest stars as they try out their comedic skills.
PRANKVILLE – PRANKVILLE puts a country twist on good-natured, practical jokes seen only by CMT’s hidden cameras.
TRICK MY TRUCK – TRICK MY TRUCK features the Chrome Shop Mafia, an eclectic collection of big rig truck mechanics, who search the truck stops of America for truck drivers whose rides need some drastic help. With customized paint jobs and outrageous detailing that transform each big rig into a work of art, The Mafia turns dreams into reality for some lucky truck drivers in need of a break.
DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS – CMT goes behind closed doors to witness the sacred tryouts of one of the nation’s most beloved institutions. The series captures all of the excitement and drama of cheerleading hopefuls who struggle with rigorous fitness standards, intricate dance routines and the signature “kick-line.”
