CMT WORLD PREMIERE OF TAYLOR SWIFT’S NEW VIDEO “FIFTEEN” BREAKS RECORDS ON CMT.COM

NASHVILLE – October 12, 2009 – Taylor Swift’s brand new music video, “Fifteen,” brought record numbers to CMT.com with its Oct. 9 world premiere. In the first 24 hours of streaming, the video gave CMT.com a +147% boost from its average number of total day streams. The premiere of Swift’s latest music video debut also broke total previous debut streaming records, with a +9% increase over the prior record-holder, “Thug Story,” also featuring Taylor Swift. Over the weekend, the first three days of streams (Oct 9-11) resulted in numbers +77% above average. Swift has continually been the record holder for video streams on CMT.com with her previous videos “Thug Story” and “White Horse” holding the top spots before this weekend’s new records with “Fifteen.”
The online world premiere of “Fifteen” was part of CMT’s multi-platform weekend of programming dedicated to Swift. CMT also featured the television premiere of “Fifteen” in a 90-minute television special, CMT FIFTEEN SWIFTLY-MADE VIDEOS, which took a chronological look back at Swift’s entire music video catalog, as well as live performances from STUDIO 330 SESSIONS and CMT CROSSROADS: DEF LEPPARD AND TAYLOR SWIFT. In addition, CMT premiered a 15-minute special TAYLOR SWIFT – FIFTEEN, which debuted on CMT, and was available on CMT.com, CMT Mobile and CMT PURE, the network’s 24-hour music channel.
