CMT.COM ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF FIRST EVER “CMT.COM LOADED AWARDS”
Irreverent Show Created Exclusively for Broadband
Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts Celebrate Multiple Wins
NASHVILLE – January 23, 2007 – CMT.com announced today the first ever winners of the CMT.COM LOADED AWARDS, a one-of-a-kind celebration of Internet excellence. Honored for the best digital achievements in 2006 at CMT.com, Carrie Underwood racked up four awards including Number One Digitally Active Female Artist. Rascal Flatts were also multiple winners, with two awards including Number One Streamed Music Video for “What Hurts the Most.” Keith Urban also took the top male honor for Number One Digitally Active Male Artist.
Created specifically for CMT’s broadband channel CMT Loaded, the CMT.COM LOADED AWARDS feature hilarious “not for TV” antics with artists and hosts Adam Black, Lauren Rainey and Charla, along with music by Phil Lee from the lunch room, the freight elevator and even the bathroom. Highlights from the award festivities include an introduction by CMT’s own Loaded Girl 15, fun tips from
Montgomery Gentry on how to watch Loaded at work and Two Foot Fred on a frantic search for Carrie Underwood.
Featured guests and presenters on the show are Little Big Town, Kellie Pickler, Josh Turner, Lindsey Haun, Montgomery Gentry, Pam Tillis, Taylor Swift, Trent Tomlinson, Billy Gilman, James Otto, Chris Young, Hazel Smith, Deanna Kay (“Muzikmafia TV”), and Nashville Predators’ Martin Erat and Darcy Hordichuk.
The CMT.COM LOADED AWARDS were created specifically for CMT’s broadband channel CMT Loaded, and the winners are determined solely by the fans’ clicks. The awards recognize content and artists with the most online traffic during 2006 at CMT.com and CMT Loaded. Each winner will be presented with the CMT.com Loaded Mouse Award, a unique hand-painted gold computer mouse mounted inside a genuine mason jar.
