CMT’s Katie Cook sits down with Keith as he offers a candid interview on his music, his controversies, his passions, his past and his future in the CMT INSIDER SPECIAL: TOBY KEITH premiering Friday, April 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
In this half-hour special, Keith discusses the long road to success and his increasingly busy schedule. From the recent formation of his own label, Show Dog Records; to his restaurant chain, I Love This Bar and Grill; to a lead role in his first feature film; Keith continues to garner successes. Keith not only talks about his new album, White Trash With Money, which hits stores April 11, but also talks about being a leading man in the CMT Film, “Broken Bridges,” which is slated for a 2006 theatrical release. The film, a CMT and Paramount venture, also stars Kelly Preston and screen legend, Burt Reynolds.

Keith has received multiple awards including ACM’s 2002 and 2003 Entertainer of the Year, AMA’s 2004 Favorite Album and Billboard’s 2005 Country Album Artist of the Year. Keith is nominated for two 2006 CMT Music Awards.
