CMT’S LEWIS BOGACH PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION

NASHVILLE – May 10, 2006 – Lewis Bogach has been promoted from Senior Director to Vice President, Program Development & Production, CMT, it was announced today by Paul Villadolid, vice president, programming & development, CMT. Bogach will oversee the production of CMT’s flagship news and video series, CMT INSIDER and TOP 20 COUNTDOWN, as well as development and production of all music-based documentaries and specials. Additionally, Bogach will oversee and develop entertainment content for CMT’s digital media extensions, including its broadband channel, LOADED, which launches in July. Based in Nashville, Bogach will report to Villadolid in Los Angeles.

"Lewis is responsible for creating and producing some of CMT's biggest specials and documentary successes and has played an important role in building up our in-house production," says Villadolid. "From the critically-acclaimed 'American Revolutions' franchise to the popular 'Small Town Secrets' series, Lewis has excelled at creating unique original programming that speaks directly to our audience."

In his new role, Bogach is charged with helming one of CMT’s most successful specials franchises, “CMT Greatest,” along with other franchises “American Revolutions,” “CMT Comedy Club,” “True Grit,” and “Greatest NASCAR Moments.” He is also charged with creating original content that will be utilized on LOADED, CMT.com, On Demand, CMT Mobile and other multi-media platforms.
Bogach joined CMT in 2004 as director, program production and development and oversaw the production of such documentaries as “CMT Greatest Outlaws: The Dirty Dozen,” and “American Revolutions: Southern Rock,” “Controversy: Johnny Cash,” and the successful “Small Town Secrets” series.

Prior to joining CMT, Bogach was president of the independent production company, Surreal Life Productions, and vice president of documentary production at American Movie Classics (AMC). His extensive experience includes a prestigious Prime Time Emmy Award for AMC’s “Blacklist: Hollywood on Trial.” Bogach is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology.
