Kevin and Gail Griffard, from Saint Mary, Missouri, are partners in marriage and in trucking. Years ago, Gail was stricken with cancer and was sidelined from trucking for five years while she recovered. During that time, Kevin had to carry on and make all the hauls without her. Although it was incredibly painful for them to be apart, the bills had to be paid. Now that Gail’s 100% recovered, the Griffards are back on the road together, their marriage stronger than ever. Because of the medical bills, maintaining their truck has fallen by the wayside. The Chrome Shop Mafia, always suckers for a good love story, give Kevin and Gail a getaway truck straight out of the 1930s.
