08/11/08

Programming Highlights August 18—24, 2008

GONE COUNTRY 2 (episode 2) - PREMIERE!
Day two for our Gone Country posse of pop stars starts off with a John Rich surprise: head on down to a Nashville photo shoot and find your inner country star look. Next, it's time to meet some professional country music songwriters and get busy creating their tunes. The night wraps up with an emotional bonfire and some late night friction between the cast members that could change the house forever! Premieres Friday, August 22 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT

OUTSIDERS INN (episode 2) - PREMIERE!
OUTSIDER’S INN begins when McCormick discovers an inn, dubbed Pigeon Manor, which overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains and decides to lease it with the option to buy. Realizing the gravity of this undertaking, McCormick brings in Brown and Wilson to assist her in this new endeavor. In the second episode, Maureen announces to Bobby and Carnie that a judge has been booked at the inn. All three discuss what type of judge this might be. Once the guest arrives, Maureen discovers that it is actually her friend from “Celebrity Fit Club”, Ross “The Intern”. Ross is in town to judge the local Fiddler’s Roost annual local talent contest. After meeting Bobby and reuniting with Carnie, Ross suggests that the three celebrities serve as judges for the talent show. Premieres Friday, August 22 at 8:30 p.m., ET/PT

COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS (episode 7) - PREMIERE!
What makes a home video “country fried”? In this episode, a skydiver jumps back in the plane, a bullet ricochets back at the shooter, a guy eats a hot dog in record time - and comes back for some jalapenos. Comedian Bill Engvall hosts CMT’s half-hour series, COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS. Now in its fourth season, the series features real home videos shot by real people, showing what real Americans do for fun. Premieres Friday, August 22 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT
