CMT's PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS FOR 8/25-8/31
Programming Highlights August 25—31, 2008
GONE COUNTRY 2 (episode 3) - PREMIERE!
As the cast is still reeling from the previous night’s wild drama, JR tosses yet another challenge at them: they are loaded up on the Gone Country tour bus and sent out to parts unknown. The big shocker: they're going to prison. It's the real deal, with genuine hardened convicts. Can our cast entertain them, Johnny Cash-at-Folsom Prison-style? Gone Country has gone to the Big House! Premieres Friday, August 29 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT
OUTSIDERS INN (episode 3) - PREMIERE!
OUTSIDER’S INN begins when McCormick discovers an inn, dubbed Pigeon Manor, which overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains and decides to lease it with the option to buy. Realizing the gravity of this undertaking, McCormick brings in Brown and Wilson to assist her in this new endeavor. In the third episode, Maureen shares with Bobby and Carnie that a newlywed couple will be arriving at the inn and are taking advantage of the Pigeon Manor Fantasy Package advertised in the local paper. She also shares some of the newlywed’s eclectic fantasy requests, which include a bathtub full of lime Jell-O, a midnight swim in the river and a romantic outdoor dinner with a special song. Meanwhile, Pigeon Manor is also hosting the annual Animal Courtship Conference. Not knowing exactly what this conference might entail, Maureen, Carnie and Bobby prepare for their guests’ arrivals. Premieres Friday, August 29 at 8:30 p.m., ET/PT
COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS (episode 8) - PREMIERE!
What makes a home video “country fried”? It's a critter invasion on this episode – three dogs escape from the pound, a bull knocks out his rider and a guy drives to work in a giant spider. Comedian Bill Engvall hosts CMT’s half-hour series, COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS. Now in its fourth season, the series features real home videos shot by real people, showing what real Americans do for fun. Premieres Friday, August 29 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT
