Coyote Ugly first opened its doors in 1993 to a tough New York crowd under the guidance of owner Liliana “Lil” Lovell. A former Wall Street apprentice, Lovell knew the combination of booze and beautiful women equaled money in the cash register. In 2000, Coyote Ugly received national attention following the box office hit of the same name. To date, there are 15 locations operating across the United States, with an additional location slated to open in 2006.
