Runner-Up Tribble Reese Will be the Bachelor for Season 2 of SWEET HOME ALABAMA Premiering Thursday, October 20 at 9 p.m., ET/PT on CMT

NASHVILLE – September 1, 2011 – Season one of CMT’s SWEET HOME ALABAMA has come to a close and beautiful southern belle Devin Grissom chose country boy Adam Moyer to win her affections in tonight’s emotional finale. After agonizing over her decision, Grissom chose Moyer for his strong values and big heart saying the cowboy would “get the girl” in the end. Since the beginning of the season, Moyer was a fan favorite on the series with his endearing one-liners, earning the respect of viewers as well as Devin when he chose not to “kiss and tell” about their first date. Runner-up Tribble Reese also proved to be a strong contender and fan favorite early in the series, but in the end Devin followed her heart.
Although hurt by Devin’s decision, Tribble Reese has decided to give love another chance, signing on to be the new bachelor on the second season of SWEET HOME ALABAMA scheduled to premiere at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on Thursday, October 20 on CMT. This time, he will be faced with the tough decision of city versus country in the search for his Ms. Right, choosing between girls from all across the country who are heading to Alabama to help mend his broken heart.

About our Season 2 Bachelor:
Tribble Reese is currently pursuing his MBA and a career in mobile application development while living in Atlanta, Georgia. Raised in Mountain Brook outside of Birmingham, Ala., Reese was recruited by Clemson where he was a quarterback and earned a degree in Marketing. After college Reese played quarterback in the arena league for the Carolina Speed of Charlotte, North Carolina. Reese was voted a 2008 “Most Eligible Bachelor“ in South Carolina for Cosmopolitan magazine and was voted Jezebel Magazine’s “Most Beautiful” in 2010. Reese’s parents are his role models, having been married for 32 years.
