In the one-hour CMT IN THE MOMENT: HANK JR.’S GUIDE TO THE GREAT OUTDOORS, Hank Jr. takes rising star, Joe Nichols, to rural Paris, Tennessee for his first ever turkey hunt and takes country music sweetheart, Lee Ann Womack to Apalachicola, Florida for a day of intense deep sea fishing. Hunting and fishing have been part of Hank Jr.’s life since childhood and remain two of his favorite pastimes. During these outings, CMT captures the “real” Hank Jr. by documenting candid conversations and rare life experiences he openly shares with Womack and Nichols.
Hank Williams Jr. is a five-time Entertainer of the Year and has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and will release his seventieth album this year. Williams holds the distinction of being the first country artist to ever win an Emmy, a feat he repeated 1990 through 1993 for his Monday Night Football anthem, “Are You Ready for Some Football?” Recently, CMT presented Williams with the distinguished "Johnny Cash Visionary Award."
