NASHVILLE – September 13, 2006 – The stars are coming out for the CMT special “CMT GIANTS - REBA,” honoring the legendary Reba McEntire. Just added are performances by Dolly Parton and Wynonna; with Barbara Mandrell, James Denton (“Desperate Housewives”), Melissa Peterman (“Reba”) and Christopher Rich (“Reba”) joining the evening’s celebration as presenters. CMT GIANTS will be taped before a live audience on Thursday, October 26 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 16 at www.ticketmaster.com. Portions of the ticket proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity, which partners with CMT One Country, CMT’s pro-social initiative.

Reba McEntire has been the leading lady of country music for over 20 years and now, for one special night, the stars of music, film and television will pay tribute to their favorite redhead in the new special CMT GIANTS - REBA, premiering Saturday, November 18 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT, and featuring live performances by previously announced artists Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles and LeAnn Rimes.

In CMT GIANTS - REBA, McEntire will be honored for her illustrious career, which includes 33 No. 1 hits, 29 albums, 15 American Music Awards, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, two Grammy’s and the CMT Johnny Cash Visionary Award. CMT GIANTS will feature musical superstars singing some of Reba’s biggest hits and a special performance by the honoree herself.
