NASHVILLE – December 5, 2011 – Big Machine Recording artists Edens Edge takes the spotlight at CMT.com throughout December, as the website launched exclusive new performance clips today on LISTEN UP. Taped before a live audience in Nashville, the trio performed “Amen,” “Liar” and “Skinny Dippin’” exclusively for CMT.com. Additional content including new performances and interviews debut later this month at www.listenup.cmt.com, where fans can discover new music and learn more about the hottest acts in country music each month.
Edens Edge has already caught the attention of many, as their current single "Amen" is a current "Top 20" hit on the Country radio charts and are currently out on the road with Lady Antebellum. “Amen” is in rotation on CMT and CMT Pure, and can be streamed on demand at CMT.com or Edensedge.com.
Comprised of Hannah Blaylock (lead vocalist), Dean Berner (harmony vocals, guitar, dobro) and Cherrill Green (harmony vocals, mandolin, banjo and guitar), Edens Edge composes a unique musical blend deeply rooted in Country and Bluegrass. Growing up about an hour from each other in Arkansas, the members of Edens Edge hadn’t met until they were introduced through mutual friends in college. After entering the NSAI Song Contest Presented by CMT in 2006, the band was discovered by Kye Fleming. The iconic songwriter helped further develop the group’s writing and artistic talents. Since releasing their Top 20 debut single on Big Machine Records, “Amen,” the trio has been profiled as one of Billboard’s “Artists to Watch in 2011” and recently participated in Opry Goes Pink!, celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a host of Country Superstars. Having wrapped up a summer on the road for Brad Paisley’s H2O II: Wetter & Wilder World Tour, the trio has previously opened for such Country acts as Gloriana, Lonestar and the legendary Ronnie Milsap. Edens Edge just finished Reba’s All The Women I Am tour and are currently openers on Lady Antebellum’s Own The Night tour.
