IT’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TIME WHEN THE SEASON FINALE OF CMT’S ‘CHEER’ PREMIERES FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12
‘Cheer’ Marathon Kicks-Off Saturday, October 13 at 2p ET/PT
NASHVILLE- October 10, 2012 – It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a season and now the CJA Senior 5 team led by tough-as-nails coach Patty Ann Romero, is heading to the World Cheerleading Championship when the season one finale of CMT’s CHEER premieres Friday, October 12 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT. Fans can relive the girls’ grueling cheerleading season full of jaw-dropping stunts and choreographed dance moves with a marathon of back-to-back episodes beginning Saturday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m., ET/PT.
A passion project for Executive Producers Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, CHEER goes inside the high stakes, high pressure world of competitive cheerleading with coach, Patty Ann Romero. Romero’s senior team consists of 20 highly-conditioned teenage athletes who must balance a demanding schedule of conditioning and competitions along with school and the pressures of everyday life. Romero dominates in the gym, but she’s like a second mother to her team and will do what it takes to make sure they succeed on the mat and in life.
CHEER is produced by Milojo Productions with Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Albert Bianchini and Julia Silverton serving as executive producers. Melanie Moreau and Jayson Dinsmore are executive producers for CMT.
