IT’S ‘YOUR CHANCE TO DANCE’ WITH A BRAND-NEW SERIES ON CMT
Mark L. Walberg Hosts CMT’s New Viewer Dance Show Premiering Friday, July 23
NASHVILLE – July 8, 2010 – Now fans have the opportunity to pay tribute to their favorite well-known dance routines from videos, television shows and movies in the new, ten episode series, YOUR CHANCE TO DANCE, premiering Friday, July 23 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. Each one-hour episode, hosted by TV personality Mark L. Walberg, features five contestants putting their unique spin on popular video dance moves before a live studio audience, who then votes to determine which contestant will win the $10,000 prize.

From Dierks Bentley’s ’Sideways’ to Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ to the infamous dance scene ‘You’re The One That I Want’ from the movie Grease – this show is all about viewers cutting loose and having a good time.”

Taped in Los Angeles, YOUR CHANCE TO DANCE features contestants competing as singles, couples and groups against one another as they pay tribute to well-known dance routines. Mark Walberg has hosted and been featured in an array of popular talk, reality and game shows including “Temptation Island” and “The Moment of Truth” – both hit reality shows on the FOX network, as well as two Emmy nominations as host of the PBS long-running hit series “Antiques Roadshow”. Walberg will tape his sixth season with “Roadshow” this summer.
