LITTLE BIG TOWN GETS “UNPLUGGED” AT CMT.COM TODAY

NASHVILLE – September 11, 2012 – Little Big Town brings their unique harmonies and one of the summer’s hottest songs to CMT.com when a new episode of CMT UNPLUGGED: LITTLE BIG TOWN debuts online today, Tuesday, September 11 at www.unplugged.CMT.com. Members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook performed a selection of their most-loved songs in front of a live audience at CMT’s Nashville studio, including an extended version of “Boondocks” and the two-week #1 hit single “Pontoon,” from their brand new album Tornado in stores today. They also performed “Pavement Ends” and “Can’t Go Back” from the new album, along with a fan-favorite, their version of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” In addition, the platinum-certified group will take over the network as CMT VJ FOR A DAY and play their favorite videos throughout the week including Wednesday, September 12 at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 13 at 9 a.m., and Friday, September 14 at 10 a.m. (all times ET/PT).
Four of the five performances from CMT UNPLUGGED: LITTLE BIG TOWN will premiere on-air Wednesday, September 19 at 10 a.m. ET/PT on CMT. CMT will promote the UNPLUGGED performances across all of its properties including CMT, CMT.com, CMT Mobile, CMT Radio and the network’s social communities on Facebook and Twitter.
The 2012 Unplugged Season features a total of eight episodes across CMT, MTV and VH1.
