About Randy Houser:
Los Angeles Times wrote that Randy Houser adds “grit to the genre” with his debut album Anything Goes, which has positioned the Mississippi-born, soul-drenched country singer and songwriter to become one of the next big artists to emerge in the genre. Houser, who was ranked #1 in Country Aircheck's 2009 Airplay Stats list in the New Artist category and was named one of this year's CRB's New Faces, received a great response from both fans and radio programmers with his first single “Anything Goes,” which catapulted into the Top 20 after an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman. His most recent hit single, “Boots On,” reached Top 5 on Billboard and Mediabase charts, and spent two weeks at #1 on Music Row charts. A viral video for the song, featuring a talented toddler rocking out and lip synching with his toy guitar, became a YouTube phenomenon tallying over 1 million views and garnered attention from CNN, CBS The Early Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Fox & Friends: Weekend, and Perez Hilton, among others. Incorporated into the official music video, it has earned Houser Video of the Year nominations for the 2009 CMA, 2010 ACM Awards, and CMT USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year. Houser co-headlined his first tour with longtime pal Jamey Johnson on CMT ON TOUR 09 and completed his first USO tour overseas with Johnson and Kellie Pickler in January 2010. His new single, “All About It,” will hit radio airwaves soon and will appear on his forthcoming album, They Call Me Cadillac, which he is currently recording. In addition, fans can hear Houser on the upcoming release, The Waylon Project, where he performs “I’m a Ramblin’ Man” and “Just To Satisfy You," featuring Sheryl Crow.
