Weekend Includes Video Double-Shots, Exclusive Performances and a Half-Hour “Making Of” Special for His New Album, “Crash My Party”
NASHVILLE – August 5, 2013 – In celebration of his upcoming album, superstar Luke Bryan brings the party to CMT, taking the reins for a special LUKE BRYAN CMT TAKEOVER WEEKEND, starting Saturday, August 10. Bryan’s eagerly-awaited “Crash My Party” album debuts August 13, but fans can catch a glimpse of him in the studio and on the road in a “making of the album” special, LUKE BRYAN: CRASH MY PARTY, premiering Saturday, August 10 at 2:00-2:30 p.m., ET/PT directly after CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN. The special will re-air on CMT on Sunday, August 11 at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., ET/PT and Tuesday, August 13 at 9 a.m., ET/PT, and on Palladia on Sunday, August 11 at 9 p.m., ET/PT.
The network will feature Bryan across all of its platforms all weekend long, including a special performance on CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN, double-shots of his biggest videos and pop-up graphics of Bryan’s signature moves throughout the day and interviews all week on CMT RADIO LIVE WITH CODY ALAN. Bryan will also crash CMT’s social channels throughout the weekend, with related content on CMT’s official Twitter account @CMT, Facebook, Tumblr and Get Glue, using #LukeCMTtakeover.
Starting today, fans can visit CMT.com and enter the “Crash Luke Bryan’s Nashville Party Sweepstakes” for a chance to see him live in Nashville. Prizing includes two round-trip tickets and accommodations to Nashville, along with tickets to see Bryan perform in concert and an additional semi-private acoustic performance. • LUKE BRYAN: CRASH MY PARTY special premieres Saturday, August 10 at 8:00-8:30 a.m. ET/PT and takes fans into the studio and on the road for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of his new album “Crash My Party.”
• Bryan stops by the studio for an exclusive performance on CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN, premiering Saturday, August 10 at 11:30-2:00 p.m., ET/PT.
• Additionally, Luke Bryan videos will air every hour during CMT MUSIC HOURS beginning Monday, August 5.
