NASHVILLE – June 12, 2007 – Country music fans will get a closer look at Martina McBride when the multi-platinum recording artist opens her own chapter of CMT DIARY, the intimate, behind-the-scenes series that reveals moments where the script ends and real life begins. The second episode of this new CMT series, CMT DIARY: MARTINA McBRIDE, premieres Sunday, June 24 at 10:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., ET/PT.
In this episode, CMT DIARY: MARTINA McBRIDE cameras follow the typically private superstar backstage during an appearance on "The View" as well as backstage as she prepares to perform at the “CMT Music Awards,” all while promoting her new album. McBride can be seen in the tension-filled moments prior to the opening night of her new tour in Kansas City, Mo. CMT DIARY captures McBride spending time with her family, balancing life between being a mom and country music royalty filled with television appearances, concert tours and running the successful Blackbird studio. CMT DIARY: MARTINA McBRIDE will re-air on Tuesday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, June 30 at 2:30 p.m. All times are ET/PT.
