MISS HAWAII PILIALOHA GAISON AND MISS NEBRASKA MOLLY McGRATH,WIN PRELIMINARY AWARDS AT 2007 MISS AMERICA COMPETITION

Las Vegas, NV - January 26, 2007 - Miss Hawaii Pilialoha Gaison was named Friday night's preliminary Talent winner for her Tahitian Dance to “Te Vaka” during the second night of competition in the 2007 Miss America Pageant at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Pilialoha will receive a $2,000 scholarship. Also in the spotlight was Miss Nebraska Molly McGrath, who was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit winner in a magenta Venus swimsuit. Molly will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

The Miss America 2007 final night of competition will be broadcast nationally, live from Las Vegas, on CMT on Monday night, Jan. 29 from 8-10 p.m. EST.
