Big & Rich Will Appear In Their First Televised Performance Together In Over Three Years
Host Kid Rock To Perform With Sheryl Crow
Additional Performers Include Fan Favorites Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band and
First-Time Mainstage Performer Luke Bryan
NASHVILLE – May 23, 2011 – The star-studded performer line-up gets even hotter for the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS with the addition of Big & Rich, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan. Recently announced host Kid Rock, who returns for a second year, performs with Sheryl Crow; and hot on the heels of his win on “Celebrity Apprentice,” John Rich reunites with Big & Rich for the duo’s first television performance in over three years and their first performance on the CMT MUSIC AWARDS since 2005. The 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS premieres LIVE on Wednesday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT on CMT and CMT.com.
Toby Keith returns to the CMT MUSIC AWARDS stage, holding the distinction of being the only artist to have performed every year since the show began in 2002. Additionally, former USA Weekend Brekthrough Artist winners Zac Brown Band (2009) and Luke Bryan (2010) will each take the performance stage, marking Bryan’s first CMT MUSIC AWARDS mainstage performance.
The 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS also includes performers Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and Sugarland.
