PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED FOR THE NATIONWIDE INSURANCE PERFORMANCE STAGE AT THE “2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS” ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9

Nationwide Insurance Creates Branded Stage Featuring Performances By Laura Bell Bundy, Easton Corbin, Justin Moore, Steel Magnolia, Trailer Choir and Chris Young
NASHVILLE – June 4, 2010 – Rising country stars, including Laura Bell Bundy, Easton Corbin, Justin Moore, Steel Magnolia, Trailer Choir and Chris Young, are set to join the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS from the Nationwide Insurance stage when the show airs live from Nashville on Wednesday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m, ET/PT. For the third year in a row, Nationwide Insurance will be featured throughout the live telecast from a special branded performance stage that resembles the insurance giant’s blue frame logo and features performances from the hottest country newcomers.
As part of their sponsorship, a special Nationwide Insurance On Your Side® Award will be presented to a new artist based on fan voting at CMT.com. Award nominees include up-and-coming performers Ryan Bingham, Randy Houser, Justin Moore and Chris Young, and fans can vote as often as they wish, now through June 7 at CMT.com. The winner will be announced during the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS telecast.

Nationwide will also host a CMT MUSIC AWARDS Viewing Party event on June 9, beginning at 6:30 pm at Rippy’s Ribs & Barbecue, located near the red carpet. The event is open to the public and will feature live music.
Hosted by Kid Rock, the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS features performances from country music’s biggest stars, including Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band. Presenters will include celebrity cook Paula Deen, ‘American Idol’s’ Kara Dioguardi, the NFL’s Terrell Owens, actress Hayden Panettiere, NASCAR legend Richard Petty and ‘Saturday Night Live’s’ Kenan Thompson. In addition, country superstars Trisha Yearwood and Zac Brown Band are scheduled to present.
Fans can vote online at vote.CMT.com through June 8 to determine the winners. The final nominees for VIDEO OF THE YEAR will be announced at the beginning of the live show and fans can then vote at CMT.com and via text message throughout the live broadcast (ET/CT only) to determine the night’s big winner.
