SEASON FINALES FOR CMT’S HIT SHOWS ‘BAYOU BILLIONAIRES’ AND ‘MY BIG REDNECK VACATION’ AIR THIS SATURDAY BEGINNING AT 9:00 P.M., ET/PT

Both Series are CMT’s Highest-Rated Original Series Ever
NASHVILLE – March 27, 2012 – The first seasons of CMT’s most-buzzed about new series, BAYOU BILLIONAIRES and MY BIG REDNECK VACATION, will come to a close this Saturday, March 31 beginning at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT. Both series featuring fun loving, tight-knit Louisiana families debuted in January to record-breaking numbers, and have gone on to become the two highest-rated original series in CMT history. As previously announced, the second seasons of BAYOU BILLIONAIRES and MY BIG REDNECK VACATION are scheduled to premiere this summer.
The finale night kicks off with BAYOU BILLIONAIRES, which features the hardworking Dowden family who recently discovered that their home sits on the fourth largest deposit of natural gas in the United States. This season, the Dowdens have been enjoying the finer things in life with their newfound wealth, from buying new teeth and new trailers to testing out new business ventures. In this week’s finale, Kitten gets mad at Gerald when he won’t let the Dowden ladies take part in the family camping trip, so she strikes back and treats the females of the family to a glamorous weekend in Beverly Hills. Kitten showers the women with shopping and splendor, while Gerald insists that the men must live off the land on their outdoor adventure in rural Louisiana. The season finale of BAYOU BILLIONAIRES airs Saturday, March 31 at 9:00p.m., ET/PT.
MY BIG REDNECK VACATION, hosted by comedian Tom Arnold, will air its finale immediately following at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT. The one-hour show follows the real-life, naturally-entertaining extended Clampet family, born and raised in the South, as they embark on a “fish out of water” experience by visiting a fancy beach rental in the Hamptons for the summer. In the season one finale, it’s been an amazing summer full of fun and great memories, but now it’s time for the family to pack up their RV and head back home to Louisiana. Before the family can get on the road however, they must first fix all the damages they’ve caused during their vacation to avoid paying a hefty property damage fee. While the men work to repair the mud pit they created in the backyard, their Hamptons neighbors plan a surprise farewell party for them. It’s a tearful goodbye for everyone and a heartfelt welcome back to Louisiana for the Clampets.
