Crow Will Serve as the CMT ONE COUNTRY Spokesperson
for the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS
NASHVILLE – May 3, 2011 – CMT has enlisted the help of superstar Sheryl Crow to serve as spokesperson for CMT’s pro-social initiative, CMT ONE COUNTRY, in conjunction with the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. As part of her role, Crow is featured in a Ladies’ Home Journal cover story highlighting her good works and volunteering spirit, including her work with CMT ONE COUNTRY partner Feeding America. In addition to the cover story, Crow will appear at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS and is featured in two videos nominated in the COLLABORATIVE VIDEO OF THE YEAR category. The June issue of Ladies’ Home Journal featuring Crow is on-stands beginning Tuesday, May 10.
“Country music has an incredibly loyal fan base,” Crow says in the cover story. “We want to encourage people to get involved not only where they live, but where they live emotionally, too.”

The 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS are country music’s first fan-voted awards show.
