“THE ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH” IS BACK FOR A THIRD SEASON PREMIERING MARCH 7 ON CMT
NASHVILLE – February 28, 2008 – CMT unveils the third season of CMT’s popular series, THE ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH, on Friday, March 7 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT. The tough-talking founder of the legendary New York City bar Coyote Ugly, Liliana Lovell, is on the hunt to fill the sixth and final spot in the Coyote Ugly traveling troupe, a group that tours the country singing and dancing on bar tops and impressing crowds. One of these ten lucky ladies will fill that spot, as well as a $50,000 prize in THE ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH 3.
The 10 girls battle it out through eight episodes of dancing, bartending and entertaining challenges. In the season premiere, the 10 'wannabee' coyotes see each other for the first time, invade their new home and meet Lil. She quickly takes them to the bar where they see the travelling coyotes perform and realize what it will take to win the coveted sixth spot. Lil then sets up the first challenge and the pressure is too much for one girl, thus resulting in the first elimination.
The contestants include:
- Ashley – an entrepreneur from Tampa, Fla.
- Jessica – a marketing representative from Philadelphia, Pa.
- Jocelyn – an insurance processor from Miami, Fla.
- Kelly – a former National Guard from Ashland, Ala.
- Lauren – a bartender from Nashville, Tenn.
- Sarah – a dancer from Los Angeles, Calif.
- Tanea – an actress and singer from New York, N.Y.
- Taylin – a singer from Oklahoma City, Okla.
- Tiffany – a dancer from San Francisco, Calif.
- Tracy – a nightclub promoter from Richfield, N.J.
Coyote Ugly first opened its doors in 1993 to a tough New York crowd under the guidance of owner Liliana “Lil” Lovell. A former Wall Street apprentice, Lovell knew the combination of booze and beautiful women equaled money in the cash register. In 2000, Coyote Ugly received national attention following the box office hit of the same name. To date, there are 13 locations operating across the United States.
