This fall, CMT is bringing back some of its most popular shows and adding a new special event to its programming lineup.

Welcome to the "Gateway to Hell": Death Valley. It’s the most treacherous place on Earth, and yet, those who aim to strike it rich call it home. This groundbreaking CMT special event follows the few who brave the scorching terrain and hostile climate in search of mystic legends and buried riches. It's a primitive fight for survival in the town of Darwin, where each day could be your last.

DOG AND BETH: BIRTHDAY SPECIAL two-part birthday episodes
Premieres Saturday, September 27 and Saturday, October 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
Two one-hour episodes
After a long year of traveling across the country, training bondsman and capturing dangerous fugitives, Beth has decided to gather the whole Chapman clan in Hawaii to celebrate Dog's 61st birthday! You think bounty hunting is wild? Get this many Chapmans together in one place and there's bound to be some excitement! Of course, with a family this big, it's not all fun and games. When Beth surprises Dog by flying in his long-lost son, Christopher, Dog must face some serious truths about himself and his role as a father and family patriarch. Between adrenaline-charged moments of family competition and fun, Dog and Beth take us on an emotional ride-along, and give us a real glimpse into the personal lives of a family that's always striving to strengthen their bonds.

SWAMP PAWN season three
Premieres Saturday October 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
13 one-hour episodes
A CMT fan favorite returns for a third season as Rick Phillips and the rest of the Bayou Pigeon crew brave the dangers of the swamp to hunt for crawfish, gators and other lucrative catches. This season of is filled with new business ventures, a deep sea fishing trip to the Gulf of Mexico, heartache over the loss of a dear friend, and all the daily comings and goings that happen in Bayou Pigeon during the craziness of crawfish and alligator season.

SWAMP HUNTERS
Premieres Saturday October 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
Eight 30-minute episodes
SWAMP HUNTERS follows Dustin and D’Roy Taylor, relic hunters who travel around Louisiana and Mississippi. Joined by their cousins Kacey and Bobo and occasionally Bobo’s ex-girlfriend Daina, the group sets out on the quest for items that were left long ago by pirates, outlaws, gangsters and militiamen. When Dustin and D’Roy find something worth selling, they head to the local antique dealers and collectors to hawk their goods, turning muddy artifacts into pure gold. Each episode highlights adventures including searching an old, abandoned house to discover it was once used as a halfway point for Rum Runners and other criminal activity, and using a floating metal detector to unearth the remains of an illegally-run casino that sank after it was hit by a large hurricane.

SWAMP PAWN and SWAMP HUNTERS crossover episode
Premieres Saturday, November 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
On this special SWAMP PAWN and SWAMP HUNTERS crossover episode, Dustin and D-Roy (Swamp Hunters) come to the rescue of a fisherman named Nick who has a tendency of getting his boat stuck in the swamp. This time around unfortunately, Nick loses a lot of important items including his wallet and wedding ring. Clayton (Swamp Pawn) reaches out to Dustin and D-Roy to enlist their help in recovering Nick’s prized possessions.

PARTY DOWN SOUTH: DRUNKSGIVING
Premieres Wednesday, November 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
One-hour special
This Thanksgiving, America’s most lovable dysfunctional redneck family comes together to count their blessings, pound shots and catch up on their fighting in a one-hour CMT special. Since they consider themselves family, the whole cast decides Thanksgiving should be spent with each other. So, the gang rents a house and spends a few wild nights together funneling beer, deep frying turkeys, and reflecting on all the things they’re thankful for – like Marlins, Sharks and the Beerzooka.

REDNECK ISLAND season four premiere
Premieres Thursday, December 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
10 one-hour episodes
REDNECK ISLAND returns rowdier than ever for a fourth season, with an even bigger and hotter cast of rednecks. This season, 12 guys and 12 girls will fight to win cold hard cash in the ultimate redneck competition series where time spent partying is just as important as time spent competing. While these rednecks may arrive single and ready to mingle, this high-stakes, sexy spin on the original format will pair male/female teammates up as bunkmates in a new twist that is sure to fuel both competition and romance at the lake house.

PARTY DOWN SOUTH: CHRISTMAS HANGOVER
Premieres Thursday, December 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
One-hour special
CMT goes home for the holidays with America’s most loveable partiers. But going to the homes of this cast is anything but normal. From Lyle’s duck call caroling, to Lauren’s beer can ornaments, Murray’s adventures as a mall Santa Clause, to Mattie kicking off 2015 as Martha, the cast reveal some of their off-the-wall redneck family holiday traditions as they ring in the New Year country style.
