10 Million Total Viewers Tuned in During BROKEN BRIDGES WEEKEND to Watch Keith in His Feature Film Debut

NASHVILLE – December 19, 2006 – BROKEN BRIDGES, the inaugural CMT Film starring platinum-selling country artist Toby Keith, which premiered Friday, December 15 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT, averaged an impressive 1.4 million total viewers* during its premiere telecast. Ranking among the network’s most-watched original telecasts ever, the BROKEN BRIDGES premiere garnered 4.1 million total viewers cumulative. Across the four weekend airings of BROKEN BRIDGES, 10 million total viewers cumulative tuned in to see Toby Keith in his feature film debut.

Featuring a stellar cast including Kelly Preston, Tess Harper, Willie Nelson, Lindsey Haun and Burt Reynolds, BROKEN BRIDGES is a bittersweet story of former high school sweethearts Bo Price (Keith) and Angela Delton (Preston) who return home after the deaths of their younger brothers, forcing them to deal with ghosts of the past and their uncertain future. The film also features original music and performances by Keith and Haun. An original movie soundtrack is available on Keith’s record label, Show Dog Nashville, and the film’s title track, performed by Keith and Haun, recently made the preliminary nominees list for original song for a movie for the Academy Awards.
