Hollywood, Calif. and Nashville, Tenn. – November 28, 2006 – Platinum-selling country artist Toby Keith makes his acting debut in the poignant and touching film, BROKEN BRIDGES, from Paramount Home Entertainment and CMT Films, which will have its broadcast premiere on CMT, Friday, December 15 at 8:00 - 10:00 PM, ET/PT. The DVD will arrive in stores on Tuesday, January 9, 2007.

Featuring a stellar cast including Kelly Preston, Tess Harper, Willie Nelson, Lindsey Haun and Burt Reynolds, BROKEN BRIDGES is a bittersweet story of former high school sweethearts Bo Price (Keith) and Angela Delton (Preston) who return home after the deaths of their younger brothers, forcing them to deal with ghosts of the past and their uncertain future.  The film also features original music and performances by Keith and Haun.  An original movie soundtrack is available on Keith’s record label, Show Dog Nashville.

In support of the film’s television and DVD debut, CMT will kick off a month of promotional programming during the weekend of December 15 with popular programs featuring Toby Keith, including CMT INSIDER SPECIAL EDITION: TOBY KEITH; HOMECOMING: TOBY KEITH; and the concert special, Toby Keith: Live, Uncut & Unleashed; as well as BEHIND THE SCENES: BROKEN BRIDGES that gives an insider’s look at the making of the film.

Film Synopsis
Toby Keith plays a country music singer who has fallen from the spotlight and faces life changes after coming home, reuniting with his true love and meeting his 16-year-old daughter (Haun) for the first time. BROKEN BRIDGES is a journey of discovery about shattering preconceived notions and reinventing one’s own concepts of family, reconciliation and acceptance.

DVD Marketing
Paramount Home Entertainment will support the release of BROKEN BRIDGES with a national media campaign including television, print, radio and online advertising, grassroots promotions and a comprehensive national publicity campaign.
