He was the one they called the “Intimidator.” His fans knew him by his famous No. 3 black Chevrolet and fellow racers knew him as the man to beat. Dale Earnhardt is known as one of the most legendary drivers in the history of NASCAR, and his life both on and off the track is featured in the new two-hour CMT feature, DALE.
Viewers raced to their televisions on Tuesday, September 4 for the premiere of the CMT original film DALE, making it the most watched telecast in the network’s history among both the key P18-49 demo and Total Viewers (P2+). With a 1.65 P18-49 rating and more than 3.1 million Total Viewers, Dale ranked as the most watched cable telecast for the day among both P18-49 and Total Viewers.
