OVERVIEW
One rebellious teen finds out if she can make it on her own when she gets EMANCIPATED in a new one-hour special airing Friday, December 17 at 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ET/PT, between season finale episodes of WORLD’S STRICTEST PARENTS. EMANCIPATED follows the story of Lorin, a privileged sixteen year-old from the New Orleans, La. area who believes she does not need the help and guidance from her parents and elects for a trial emancipation. With only the bare necessities and guidance from therapist Stacy Kaiser, Lorin is given three weeks of freedom, and goes on an emotional journey of self discovery.
