Toby Keith, Keith Urban and Bon Jovi Join the Superstar Line Up

New Bon Jovi Song to Make Its World Television Premiere

NASHVILLE – March 20, 2007 – CMT announces additional star power to an already blockbuster line-up for the 2007 CMT MUSIC AWARDS airing live from Nashville’s Curb Event Center at Belmont University on Monday, April 16 at 8:00 p.m., ET.* Toby Keith, Bon Jovi, and a special performance from Australia by Keith Urban, have been added to the growing list of performers that includes Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, and Sugarland.

Bon Jovi will perform the new single from their next studio album for the first time on the 2007 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. The song, “(You Want To) Make a Memory,” is from their Lost Highway album by Island Records/Mercury Nashville, due out June 19 and is the follow-up to 2005's Have a Nice Day, which has sold 1.4 million copies. The album's Grammy-winning single, "Who Says You Can't Go Home" featuring Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, the first time in almost 30 years that a non-country artist has reached No. 1 with their first attempt at the country chart.

Voting is currently underway at CMT.com to determine the night’s big winners as well as the “Flatt Out Fan Favorite,” the song that Rascal Flatts will perform to open the sixth annual awards show. The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the show, and fans can vote at CMT.com as well as via mobile phone throughout the live broadcast (ET/CT only) to determine the final award of the night.

The 2007 CMT MUSIC AWARDS is produced by Audrey Morrissey and Camouflage Films, Inc. Sarah Brock is the executive producer for CMT.
