ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH 2007 (episode 2) - PREMIERE!
In the second season of CMT’s popular series, ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH, legendary tough-talking founder of the chain of Coyote Ugly bars, Liliana Lovell, hits the road again in search of the next Ultimate Coyote. This time, the quest for the nation’s most deserving Coyote Ugly bartenders hits Nashville, New York City, Charlotte, Memphis and Ft. Lauderdale. In this hour-long episode, the veteran coyotes hold open auditions in New York City and Nashville to search for their ideal partner. They narrow the search down to a handful of girls that then must audition in front of Lil. Lil chooses one lucky lady from each city to team up with the veterans.Premieres Friday, April 6 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT
COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS (episode 10) - PREMIERE!
What makes a home video “country fried”? It could be a belly flopping contest in a mud puddle; shot gun bowling in the backyard; or even the age old favorite, bobbing for trout. Comedian Bill Engvall hosts the second season of COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS, the series that shows what everyday Americans do for fun and 15 seconds of fame. Each half-hour episode has one video awarded with Engvall’s infamous “Here’s Your Sign” cash prize at the end of each show. Premieres Friday, April 6 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT
KARAOKE-DOKEY: WYNONNA/THE JUDDS - PREMIERE!
CMT presents the new series, KARAOKE-DOKEY, a celebration of people who love country music. Hosted by Lance Smith (CMT TOP 20 COUNTDOWN) and Charla (CMT LOADED) KARAOKE-DOKEY episode 5 features four contestants who compete in a battle to see who does the best impersonation of country diva Wynonna, or everyone's favorite mother-daughter duo, The Judds. These aspiring singers belt it out in front of a live audience and panel of judges, including Josh Gracin (Lyric Street Reocrding Artist), Miss America 2007 Lauren Nelson and former NFL gridiron great Eddie George. In the end, only one will win the title of KARAOKE-DOKEY queen and bragging rights in honky-tonks and karaoke bars across America. Premieres Friday, April 6 at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT
SOUTHERN FRIED FLICKS WITH HAZEL SMITH featuring URBAN COWBOY - CMT PREMIERE
SOUTHERN FRIED FLICKS WITH HAZEL SMITH is one part movie, one part cooking show and all Hazel! As she hosts the movie, Hazel will also show you how to cook a real down home dish and of course, give the “Hot Dish” on your favorite country stars. Also, you never know who might show up in Hazel’s kitchen. This week’s episode features URBAN COWBOY, a film featuring John Travolta as Bud Davis - a country boy who moves to the big city to visit his uncle. He starts hanging out at Gilley's, owned by Mickey Gilley himself. He takes a job at the refinery where his uncle works. He also meets Sissy (Debra Winger), a cowgirl, and they fall in love and suddenly get married. And then their marriage is shattered when Bud sees Sissy allegedly seeing con man Wes (Scott Glenn), who teaches her how to ride the mechanical bull...and plans to rob Gilley's. When a bull-riding contest is announced, Bud decides to sign up. Can he win the contest and save his marriage to Sissy? Premieres Sunday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT
