MEDIA CREDENTIAL APPLICATION FOR THE 2019 CMT MUSIC AWARDS

Media may apply for credentials now through May 31st for the 2019 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. Please carefully review the following rules and procedures before applying for credentials.

AREAS OF ACCESS

RED CARPET ARRIVALS:
The 2019 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will again feature a star-studded red carpet to kick off the evening's festivities. CMT invites national and local media to cover the red carpet, which runs before the live show from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 5.

***The red carpet is the only opportunity media will have to obtain direct interviews with talent.***

WORKING PRESS ROOM:
In lieu of a traditional awards show press room, CMT will provide a designated area for media interested in working throughout the live telecast. Media are invited to watch the show, live blog, file stories and download images in this space. The Working Press Room will not provide opportunities for talent interviews, still photography or b-roll footage. Interviews should be conducted on the red carpet.

REVIEW SEATS (IN-HOUSE):
Media interested in attending the live show are invited to sit in a special reserved media section at the 2019 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, pending ticket availability.

PHOTO SEATS:
CMT has limited space for photographers at the 2019 CMT MUSIC AWARDS on the riser in-house. For those media we are unable to accommodate, CMT will post free, downloadable images at www.cmtpress.com.

CMT attempts to credential as many legitimate media outlets as space will allow; however, we may not be able to grant every request. Consideration for media credentials is based upon a number of factors, including previous coverage of the CMT MUSIC AWARDS and events leading up to the live telecast. Freelance journalists will only be considered with confirmed assignment from a media publication or broadcaster.
